Mommy-Daughter Paint night

Blair and I had some time one night and so I decided to take her to something I have long wanted to do and a perfect date for us two crafters, a place called "Color Me Mine" where you can pick your own ceramic and paint it.  When you are done you leave it to be fired and pick it up later.

Blair picked a butterfly jewelry box and I picked a plate that we can use for birthday cake at our house.  We had fun, Blair liked it but got a little bored when you had to do multiple coats.  She was happy when she picked it up and saw how it came out since she really didn't understand that it would get darker and shiny later.
