Christmas Pictures

This experience was... less than thrilling.  The kids were difficult, the photographer was awful.  We got the one gem of a picture because it is so hilarious but not the precious cousin Christmas picture I hoped for.  Nora is so difficult for pictures right now, as is Graham.  Miles is well, a baby and Blair just posed so darling but seemingly at the wrong times.  oh well!  These will be treasured anyway!

Gymnastics Presentation

The girls have only been in gymnastics for about 6 weeks but they do an end of season "show" which is really just for the kids to each have a time when they are performing all on their own.  They go through a little circuit and stand on the podium.  Both girls did great and looked very proud of themselves!

Family Nights

In our advent calendar we had some fun things planned in the days leading up to Christmas to spend time together.

The first night was hot chocolate and games night.  We played with Nana and Auntie Bon Bon and then also with Great Grandma when she arrived to stay at our house for the week.  The girls had a great time and it was so much fun to play all together.

The second night was popcorn and movie night.  We cuddled on the couch and watched the Grinch and part of Mickey's Christmas Carol.

The third night Nana and I and the girls did crafts together.  Blair wanted to make snowmen out of the toilet paper rolls and so we found supplies and I LOVE how they turned out!

Mall Santa

We have to get our annual picture at the mall with Santa.  We tried to get a cousins picture in line but that is hard to do and Graham wasn't feeling it.  Nora just wanted to check out what Miles was doing.  When it was finally our turn we didn't get much.  No screaming, just not smiling Nora and Blair scrunching her neck in.  Haha!  Later we had Chinese food for dinner and I look over and noticde Nora is dipping her noodles in water.  She picked up each individual noodle, dipped and ate!

Starbucks dates!

I took Blair to do her Christmas shopping at the dollar store.  We counted out $20 in quarters from her piggy bank and she exchanged it for cash from Daddy.  She loved picking out presets and I love to watch her.  She would walk down the aisles and say "hmmmm who do I have that would like this?"  After we finished I took her to Starbucks to get hot chocolate.  She was SO excited about this.  She loved it, after every sip she would say "mmmmm...ahhhhh" and she just kept hugging me all day saying "mommy I love you and I love spending time with you"

Nora and I were out one day and had time to kill before story time.  I took her for hot chocolate too.  She just kept smiling after every sip and was so adorable!
