Thanksgiving

 

We went up to Reno on Wednesday night to visit with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa.  We had been potty training all week (post to come) so the car ride was iffy but Blair did great, no accidents and she was SO well behaved.  To test her even more we went straight to a restaurant for dinner and she still had no accidents and she was so good sitting there too!  We had a rough sleeping night there and miss Blair made her big preggo mama sleep on the floor!

We did let her watch the ipad on the way up, that helped. Totally zoned!

Thanksgiving morning we just had fun playing.  She watched some football with Great Grandpa.

We went on a walk and saw the neighborhood horses and she really liked them.  She wasn't afraid and we had to keep her from touching them!

She watched the "boys" play football.  She liked to talk about the "boys" and kept calling Little Donnie, "This boy" until we taught her his name and then it was, Donnie this and Donnie that all night!

and a sweet one... you can see Great Grandma thought we were crazy with what we try to do to get her to smile!  She is such a smiley happy kid until you get the camera out and she knows you want it!

 She just loved playing on the piano.  Donnie and Zachary played with her too.  They were noisy but having a great time!

 

 Donnie played so well with her, it was great to have a little baby sitter to keep her occupied!  She laid on his shoulder to watch him play games.

22 Weeks

How Far Along: 22 weeks, very early... According to my annoying doctor who every time I ask a question she says, "it is so early"

Size of baby: Heading to look this up... a Papaya!  I can't really picture that in my head. I am hoping it is really big since my students greeted me with, "Wow! You got big!" when we returned from Thanksgiving break :( 

Total Weight Gain/Loss: This is my second update and I am regretting saying that I will share... 12 pounds That is a big gain for 4 weeks!  I am still in the 25-35 pound range where I would like to stay this time but I know I gain a lot at the end so I am trying to save room for that!  I tell myself to be good but then have NO willpower 5 minutes later!

Maternity Clothes: I found some cute skinny jeans so that is fun.  I like showing off my belly (even if it is overly large for my time zone) so I am enjoying this time as much as I can!

Gender: We have the name for this girl narrowed down to 3 choices... We are waiting on a few things.  One is the popularity list after the first of the year, the second is the result of a certain football game... HAHA

Yes, I am allowing a football game to decide the name of my child since Jason and I can't make a decision!  We now have a "If ND wins" name and a "If ND loses" name!

Movement: Feeling great movement now.  Jason has felt her a few times and Mimi felt her once too!  It is nice when I get worried to have that reassurance. 

What I miss: I am going to leave this one the same the whole time... Diet Pepsi.  I had a sip of Jason's tonight and it was amazing!

Also, I went wine tasting as the driver and I have been missing wine since then. 

Cravings: Cinnamon rolls... oh and ALL food!

Symptoms: I am having a lot of contractions already.  Supposedly it is normal but it worries me because I didn't have them with Blair until aroudn 36 weeks if I remember right.  I am starting with some minor heartburn now too.

 

The SCH was not gone at the 20 week ultrasound.  However, it was still not near the placenta to affect it and she is clearly growing well.  I have relaxed some about it and just try to stay positive.

No makeup or hair done but I knew if I didn't take it I would forget for another 4 weeks :)

 

Making Turkeys

To fill some time while potty training, Blair and I made some Thanksgiving decorations.  Mommy loves doing crafts!
