Blair had her first day of real big kid preschool. She is going through the city program which is at the elementary school where she will eventually go so it is nice for her to get to know the campus. She is going 2 days a week for 2 hours and her teachers are Miss Becky and Miss Jenny. When we went to orientation they started talking about her first field trip and guess whose mom was in the corner crying... yeah, not ready for this big kid stuff but also so excited!
She is more nervous now than when she went to preschool last year. I think as she has gotten older she has gotten more aware and cautious so she isn't always ready to leave Mommy and Daddy's side with new people. She loves to make friends but is more nervous about greeting them so she wasn't running inside to say hello.
She did great though, no tears just a little extra hug and she went in. She loved it of course and has wanted to go back ever since. We are two weeks in and she is just eating all the learning up!
My friend Katrina made this adorable sign for her. I would like to point out my favorite part which his her favorite song... a sort of instrumental/chanting song from Frozen. I think it is hilarious of all the Frozen songs that she LOVES this one. My least favorite part... she is starting to turn on the color yellow in favor of the standard "girl pink" :(
