Mimi and Papa brought Blair up. She was very interested and SO sweet! She just wanted to touch and give hugs and kisses so much.
She wanted to hold her too.
Although Mimi was there when she was born, this was the first time she got to hold her. Mimi and Papa adore her already!
Auntie Nicole came too but since Graham was sick, she was too worried to spread germs by holding her. Grandpa Cliffy came by. Auntie Jen came later that night, she too didn't want to hold her yet.
Some other shots just hanging out getting to know her:
Blair went shopping during the day to buy baby sister (No-wah) a gift. She came back later that night to visit and they exchanged gifts. Nora got Blair a Thomas Train. Blair got Nora some little lovey toys.
Nora was a great eater from the start, much easier than breastfeeding with Blair. She did ok at night with sleeping but Mommy didn't sleep well because she couldn't fall asleep. All I could think about was the craziness of the birth... plus, they come take our stats every 2 hours so it is really hard to rest in the hospital! She got all checked out with the pediatricians and her tests done and she was as we expected, PERFECT!
The next morning daddy did some cuddling with Nora.
We weren't sure we were going to be discharged (due to my Blood pressure problems) so Blair and Mimi and Papa came back to visit. Blair tried out the bassinet.
We took Nora on a little walk.
Auntie Janae and Nick came to visit after coming back from Hawaii.
Finally we were told we were going home. We got everyone dressed and ready to get home around 5 pm on the 25th! Nora was not a fan of the car seat at first but once we were moving she was fine.
Our new life as a family of FOUR was about to begin!
