2 Months

2 Months has gone by so quickly!  We can't believe how much she has already grown and changed.  She is such a wonderful baby and is relaxed and happy most of the time.  Here are some highlights from the month:

1: She started smiling, cooing, and almost a laugh sound.  It is so cute and she has lots of different smiles.  She flings her head back and smiles like she thinks we are just so funny.  It does make it really hard to catch a picture though because she moves so much and they are blurry.  They just don't capture how truly adorable it is!  She has a sweet little smile and a perfect calm big open mouth smile.  They are all so fun to see and I love the little noises she makes to go along with them.  She usually has a big smiley happy time right after she eats.  

2: Speaking of eating, she likes to!  She is a great eater and eats every 2.5-3 hours.  She gets so excited to eat and when she knows it is coming she starts sticking her tongue out and licking everything.  

3: She sleeps her first stretch for 5-6 hours and then does about 2-3.  She still isn't a solid sleeper after that first stretch and keeps me up a lot but she is making improvements and that gives me hope.

4: She wears 3 month clothing and some newborn if they can fit over her big diaper.  

5: She was great at her doctor checkup.  She is 23.5 inches long (88 percentile), and 11 pounds 15 ounces (63 percentile).  She had her shots too and did well with them.  Here she is all calmed down after the appointment. 

6:  She loves for us to play with her legs.  I can usually get her happy by doing bicycle.  After bath time she likes to have her legs massaged.  She doesn't care much for anything else but the legs make her really happy!  She is strong too and likes to stand on her legs.

7: She has significant fuzz on her head.  I thought it was more than Blair but looking back at pictures I am not sure.  I had such hope.  The one on the right is all spiked up after bathtime

8: She loves to be outside and look around at things.  She will just hang out in our arms without a peep.

9:  She gets carried in all sorts of different packs.  She sleeps in the Ergo facing me, she hangs outward and she hangs out in the sling in a kangaroo hold!
