Nora 3 months

Nora is such an amazing baby!  She is just so chill almost all the time.  When she wants to eat she fusses and when she is tired you can tell, but then she just goes right to sleep without a fight when she wants to nap (please don't jinx me).  Everyone talks about how sweet and wonderful she is!

Updates:

1. She is about 13 and a half pounds.  She is in 3 and 6 month clothes so she is definitely living up to the giant Martling baby thing we have going.  She wears a size 1 diaper if she wears disposable.

2.  She is super strong.  Her favorite position is standing up and her neck is strong too so that is really nice for holding her now when you are trying to get something done or taking care of the toddler.  The one thing she is not strong at is pushing up on her arms in tummy time.  I guess she doesn't really get much chance to work on it because she hates it.  She also has rolled over quite a few times from back to tummy but it is usually on a slope or something so I don't really know if it "counts"

3.  The best thing this month has been her interaction.  She smiles so easily and coos back at us.  She has some interest in toys and books and found her hands as well.  She has a cute little face when she coos with her lip tucked under.

4.  She sleeps for 5-8 hours at night, it is really sporadic.  She does well though and goes back to sleep right after eating.  So sometimes she wakes up once and sometimes she wakes up twice.  She wakes up between 7-8 mostly but sometimes that is only because I bring her to bed when she tries to wake up at 6.  She is still in her bassinet in our room but will be moving soon.  She takes about 2 two hour naps plus a 30 minute nap at night.  She naps awesome if she is swaddled in her swing only or we are moving in the car or stroller.  If those aren't happening then naps are 30 minutes.  

5.  Some of my favorite things: her under lip face, the 5-10 minutes she loves to cuddle after eating, her giant throw her head back wide open mouth smile, how she smiles and coos in bed when she wakes up, just happy to be free from the swaddle and stretched out!
