Where has time gone? I can't believe the little baby I have and how NOT a newborn she is! She is growing to have such a happy personality while keeping her chill attitude as well. Nora you are a delight!
- You started sleeping in your own crib. It has been nice to have our room back and not walk on eggshells and you adjusted easily. You don't sleep any different, maybe a little better in your crib then in the bassinet. This means you also can't be swaddled as you roll over but you did great with that transition too! You are a belly sleeper already! Two little loves on the monitors now!
- You love the song "twinkle twinkle little star," as soon as I start singing it and doing the hand motions you smile and are happy. It is fun. Blair has started singing it to you too and we do it before bed at night together.
- You are playing with toys very intently now. You play in the bouncer, exersaucer, bumbo, sitting(with us or with the boppy behind you), standing, and even on your belly for extended periods of time (like sometimes 20 minutes you are happy playing on your own!)
- You are still loving your sister and love her attention. You give her smiles and she was able to make you laugh like crazy this month with her jumping. For some reason you just though that was hilarious!
- You can sit on your own! It isn't the most sturdy and you don't last long but you are really quite good at it, especially for 5 months. You're our strong girl! I sit you with the boppy pillow behind you to play and you like that.
- You're laughing more and more now which is so much fun. You like Blair jumping, Daddy sneezing, and Mommy's laugh. It still isn't easy to get the laughs but we adore them and stop ANYTHING to get it to continue!
- You can roll over both ways now but you still don't roll tummy to back very often.
- You wear 6 and 9 month clothes! You are not helping us out by fitting into Blair's old wardrobe but we overlap a little bit. At least that is what Mommy tells Daddy when she buys you new clothes (oops tattled on myself!)
- You did a period of some awesome sleep this month. You would wake up just once around 5 and then sleep until 7:30ish. This is perfect, I would like you to go back to this. Right now you are struggling and wanting to wake up for the day around 4, then 5, then 6.... grrrr....
- Our favorite thing you do is what we call "the stalker." If Daddy is in the room but not holding you all you do is stalk/watch him until finally he looks at you or starts talking to you and you get this HUGE smile! You are a Daddy's girl for sure! No biggie, I just birthed you in 3 hours with no epidural (which you will NEVER hear the end of) and lovingly provide you with all of your milk but its cool... give Daddy the smiles... I'm no bitter...

This is Nora's "Male senior portrait pose" LOL

Oh my gosh, she is such a little love! Adorable and very happy! Love you baby girl, but please slow down for Mimi!
