Elf on the Shelf

One morning we woke up and there was a visitor at our house!  He came with a book that told us about how he was a helper for Santa to let him know if Blair and Nora were naughty or nice.

We were supposed to pick a name.  Blair picked Star... why?  That was what she saw first thing when she looked around the room.

Blair wasn't too into him at first but she followed the rules and didn't touch him.  However, she also wasn't afraid to misbehave in front of him.

Playing with the princesses...
Riding the train with a baby and Elmo

Then she started thinking he was pretty funny when he put toilet paper all around the bathroom!

 He made a "sprinkle angel"
Blair and I made these salt dough ornaments.  I gave them to her to look at after baking and turned my back.  When I turned around she was trying frantically to eat it! haha.  I guess that was pretty confusing as it seemed like cookies.  Her ornament has a big bite out of it now!  So of course that night Star got a little mixed up and took a bit too!

Tea party with Simba and Sully

 bath time...
hanging out in the tree... I guess Star was too tired for mischief this night.
For Blair's birthday Star decorated the house but he got a bit tangled up in the crate paper
 stuck in the vase
 hanging on Santa
 riding the chandelier... naughty elf!
 Leaving messages
checking Blair's stocking to see if it was ready for presents
oops that naught elf was trying to eat our cookies and got stuck in the bag.  It was around this time that she started actually searching for him in the morning and also talking to him about how she was good and wanted a princess bike.
 its cold in the fridge
cool gingerbread house Blair... she was NOT happy
 Even elves have to accessorize
 giving Sully a checkup
he rode this bus down the stairs
playing Blair's new game with his friends the nutcrackers
on Star's last night he colored Blair a picture and left a note with a report card.

Until next year Star!  Enjoy your rest at the north pole and we will be nice all year long!
