- She can stand on her own without holding on. She seems really close to walking so I am sure she will do it before 11 months.
- She is eating more finger foods and loving them, she now sits in her high chair to let mom clean up and just eats and eats.
- She can play peekaboo and it is the CUTEST! she played with me for 15 minutes in the car one time just laughing away! She is getting so great with toys and loves to put things in like the balls in this octopus toy which was one of Blair's favorites too.
- If she isn't getting her way she is starting some little tantrums and screaming. If there is something she wants she expects that she will get it!
- She is talking a lot and we think she knows dada now but we are not positive. She makes lots of sounds and it is cute!
- We call her the little menace because she is into everything! Although we never had to with Blair we already have to lock the kitchen cabinets and she tests us all the time. She laughs when we tell her no. When she wants to get to something Blair is playing with she is SO determined and not happy when I take her away from it. Blair is getting really good at dealing with it though and just says "Mommy help!"
- She is a CLIMBER! holy cow she has good coordination. We can't turn out back on her or leave the room or she will find something. She loves it to, she likes to climb up and over her little car over and over and over again.
- I am loving to see her and Blair's relationship develop, they are loving each other and making each other laugh.
- She is sleeping so much better. She is still taking 2 naps a day of varying times but at least one is usually around 1.5-2 hours and the other can be shorter or longer. She is flexible because sometimes we are out so she sleeps in car for a short time and then naps later at home. We are hoping to get her on one nap just to make scheduling better but since she is flexible it isn't a big deal and she stays really happy if she is busy. We started giving her a little snack (formula) at night after dinner to help her night sleeping and it is either that or just her age but she is doing great. I hate to even type it but she just wakes up once (actually I wake her up) and eats at 5:30 and then sleeps to around 7:30.
Her 10 month pictures in Monterey. They didn't go well since she HATED her feet touching the ground. Conditions weren't ideal but she is still a doll face!
This was her preferred way to sit and she didn't want anything to do with us after that!
We had to end the photo shoot after this as she would not stop turning around and then insisted on standing! No way girly!
This is the ONLY decent picture I got because she would not sit still... again all she wanted to do was stand up.
