Swim Lessons

We were able to do Blair's big girl swim lessons at the same time as a parent/tot lesson for Nora.  Jason and I both took turns playing with Nora for her lessons.  These pictures are from a bunch of different times throughout the 8 lessons.

Nora didn't really like it at first but we made a lot of progress towards the end of the lessons and we at least got the ball rolling on getting comfortable in the water.

Nora had a hard time anytime she saw the other person out of the pool and wanted to go to them.

Blair had a hard time waiting her turn and sitting still.  She is SO excited about swim lessons (like I cannot even describe how much she gets excited for it) that she just doesn't like how much they sit around on the side of the pool.  She ends us laying on the ground or doing this...

Blair LOVES to jump in and has no fear.  While the other girls have to be coaxed in she is here standing waiting for the other little girl to finish  her turn...
holding out her arms waiting to get the go ahead (I worried she would suddenly get too excited and do it alone)
 and out she goes!!!
She gets excited to see her audiance
She got better at her floating, she doesn't like it much.

Slide time!

Nora was always happy if she got to play on the steps.  I know this will be her favorite spot at our pool this summer.  She will climb in and out playing all day.

Blair loves to ride the "magic carpet" at the end of class.
