Sacramento Children's Museum

Krista and I have been friends for over 25 years and during my break from work we got to take our own kids to the Sacramento Children's Museum.  It was pretty cool to be able to do that together and also made us feel really old that we can say, "we've been friends for over 25 years..."

The Museum is small and has little play areas for different activities.  Here are Blair and Avery in the Toddler room playing dress-up.  Blair liked climbing up the steps of that house behind her too... and walking off like she knew I would catch her.  She has no fear!

 Sharingish...

I showed Avery how to stack these blocks biggest to smallest.  It was so much fun to watch her learn it and she just loved it!  She did not like however when Blair would come steal them!

There was a kitchen area with carts, cash registers, money and groceries.  All Blair wanted to do was sit in this mail cart (from another station) and read a postcard.

Avery wanted to push her around so she did...

There was an art studio where the kids could paint on the window and make different crafts.  Blair and I skipped painting but we did make a shaker with rice in a toilet paper roll.

There was a play house with a kitchen, bed, and babies.

There were also a lot of bigger kid type things to do dealing with more science-type learning experiences and a big water table area that was pretty cool too.  It is really far away so we won't go often but we will definitely go back!

give me your best alien face...
