Grandpa Dave is here to visit this weekend so we thought it might be fun to go to the train museum in Old Sacramento. I thought she might enjoy seeing a few trains but figured we wouldn't last that long in there.
Boy was I wrong! She loved every second of it and we had to continue to push her along or we would have never made it out of there. We were there for an hour and a half and she never once complained about anything but just loved it all. She could have played longer!
Even after just the first train in the lobby she was starting to yell "More Train, choo choo" as we left each train in search of the next.
Checking out the people with the trains. The first big train we saw.
Huge smiles!!!
Checking things out with Grandpa. Getting a ticket. Sitting in the depot... when all of a sudden, Daddy jumped out and scared them!
Finally we found a train we could go inside. She loved it and did not want to get out.
But we found an engine car to go in...
And a fruit car... she was chasing Daddy.
She liked the phones to hear about the trains... she was talking to Mimi
and just when we thought we were done... the upstairs was toy trains!
She could have stood here for hours watching the town with all the trains going by.
Then there was a Thomas The Train play area for kids.
After we left we walked around Old Sac for a bit. Jason and Dave played a game and Daddy bought Blair her first kite, a lady bug which he is SO excited about!!! He loves kites and knew he wanted to get her one as soon as I mentioned Old Sac.
We upgraded out tickets to a season pass so we will be going back!
