Nora 15 months

Nora keeps us on our toes.  She lives up to her nickname "Nora the Destroyer" and even Blair has started asking people to call her that, oops! haha.  We couldn't love her more, she gives us so much joy and love.

• Nora loves to play with babies and little people.  She likes to get all the little people sets out and it is really cute to see her with them, she is really understanding how toys work.  
• She still doesn't like to read but she will sit through 2 books with her milk before bed and we are making progress.  She has no interest in TV, puzzles, or coloring like Blair did.  I think she just doesn't want to sit still and if she thinks I am trying to teach her something she rebels! haha.
• She is not as smiley as she used to be so still mostly very happy.  Her new found tantrums come from knowing what she wants and not giving up until she gets it.  There is no redirecting her, she will remember what you are trying to keep her from.
• She still doesn't talk much (says mama, dada, dog and we think tickle) but she has figured out how to tell us what she wants by grabbing our finger and dragging us places and pointing.  She can sign "more", "please", and "again," and I think "all done".  She still refuses to do animal sounds.  She does know some body parts like: head, nose, eyes, tongue, ears, tummy and feet/toes
• Although she is stubborn in her verbal skills, we know full well she understands everything we say.  She follows directions pretty well now and can do many things on command.  She amazes us with the things she does.  She started helping me buckle her carseat and it just blew me away that she learns so much from watching what we do.  
• She does "Wheels on the Bus" and "Happy and you know it" and blows kisses and waves all the time, its adorable.
• She really is super sweet and snuggly.  Although we joke a lot about her being our rough and tumble bully she is really a precious little nugget of love.  
• She LOVES to eat.  If you ask her if she wants to eat she frantically shakes her head yes and runs to her highchair.  She is a little picky but if its something she like she will eat a ton.  Cheese, milk, fruit, and pouches of pureed food are her favorites.
• She's a great sleeper (I hate to even type that though).  She takes about 2.5 hour naps each day and sleeps 11-12 hours a night and even better she goes to sleep for both without a fuss.  I think she is happy to go to bed.
