7 Months!

It has been a pretty eventful month for Blair.  She is getting such a little personality and changed so much over that last month.

• She plays independently now.  She still likes us to sit with her but she will really play and move a toy around on her own to explore it.  Her favorite toy is her little toy kitchen.  She likes all the pieces and the sounds.  She likes to pull it over on herself and then cry when it is laying on top of her.

• She is much more vocal.  She is using her screaming voice and lots of different sounds. 

• She decided she loves to share my water.  I cannot get a drink of water without sharing with her.  She grunts and grabs for it until she can get her whole head inside.

• She is laughing more easily and frequently now.  She mostly laughs at the dogs and when we bite her belly.
• She is eating more and more food now.  She has added zucchini, avocado (the only thing she hates), apples, sweet potato, and butternut squash to her two meals a day.  She is still breastfeeding well and takes a bottle if mom is gone (which she isn't much now in the summer, loving it!)

• She naps in her crib and pretty good too.  Her naps are usually 45 minutes to one hour but she squeezes in the 2 hour ones here and there which gives us hope!
• She still loves to stand and can pull herself up to a stand on the ottoman and some other props.

• She is starting to get more clingy and scared easily by her surroundings
• She is less easily amused by us and more easily bored and demanding (with an attitude) of new activities.  She is still a really happy baby though and if she is busy she is really happy!
• and of course... SHE CRAWLS!
