Hawaii Day 5: more beach time

We woke up at our hotel

We decided to try for some boogie boarding and had heard that there were some nice waves down the beach.  We loaded up everything (in the stroller, we decided it was more useful for carrying the ice chest then the baby) and walked a long way.

Unfortunately it was a bit rough and Jason and Dad ended up with some cuts from the coral.  Us girls were glad they tested it out for us.

we chased waves which she thought was funny

We had a nice little grassy spot.  I thought Blair would like it better but she wanted to get onto the beach

We relaxed the rest of the day and then headed down to the beach to try to catch some sunset pictures.

nothing like the old "family looks off into the sunset silhouette"

Someone did NOT like the grass skirt... so mom took a picture.  Also, some lady on the beach tried to take a picture of Blair.  So tip of the day: it is weird to ask to take a picture of someones kid on the beach.

Later that night Jason, Janae, Nicole, Jen and I went out to a Bar in Lahaina (Moose McGillyCuddys) and had a great time!

Janae picking up on some guy and then supposedly sharing pictures of their nieces at the bar :)

Edited to add... after we were done at the bars, our AMAZNG dad GRACIOUSLY awakened from his beauty sleep to come pick up our loud drunk butts!  THEN, since no burrito place was open he COOKED US FRESH BURRITOS!  Isn't he the best EVER!  We think so too ;)
