Hawaii Days 1-2

Our first day of "vacation" did not feel like vacation at all.  I was literally on edge for 12 hours straight just waiting for the bomb (Blair) to explode at any moment!  It turns out, she was an angel the whole way and she really put up with SO much.  We had to drive to the airport and go through all the "stuff" there and that is before the 5.5 hour flight!  She barely cried on the plane at all and she slept on the floor for almost 2 hours!  Luckily we were able to change seats with Grammy and Papa so we had the whole row to our self with Auntie Janae.  That really took the anxiety of bothering someone else away!

Once we finally arrived she was happy to stretch her little legs! That is the sling I use to carry her, not some new fashion trend I am trying to start ;)

Then we had to take a bus to get the rental car (and mommy got in a fight with another women, don't mess with a mama bear).  THEN(seriously, total torture for her) we went shopping at Costco and Kmart to get all the groceries and the, ahem, stroller that mom forgot!  After about an hour drive, we were finally at the condo and were SO impressed.  It was huge and had a beautiful ocean view.  Plus, we saw that the bathroom in our "master suite" was so big Blair had her own space to sleep in which turned out to be SUCH a blessing!

Finally on day 2 we got to have some fun.  We took a walk down to the beach to just explore and we ended up the typical people with the wrong clothes on who think they will be fine just "dipping the toes in" when a big wave soaked us all! It was Blair's first dip in the ocean.

Isn't this just the cutest little family picture... oh wait, that is dad and Auntie Nicole!
Auntie Nicole played lots with her in the water
We managed to bring quite a few toys in all our luggage (we did check 4 bags but in our defense we had to bring a pack and play and the bumbo plus Jason's golf clubs!).  We managed to make a toy box for Blair and then we realized it was a Corona box... check out this classy pic:
While Blair took her first of many (everyday) over TWO HOUR NAPS we dove into the beer stock and soon realized we did NOT buy enough...

After naptime we headed to Lahina to do some shopping and check out the Banyan tree which was really cool!
