Christmas Eve 2012

We went over to Mimi and Papa's for Christmas Eve.  Nana joined us there and Great Grandpa Walt along with the rest of the gang.  Unfortunately due to snow Great Grandma and Grandpa Evoniuk were not able to join us. 

Blair played right away buy herself for a while at the art table.  Then Papa joined her for a tea party.  It pretty much melts everyone's hear to see Papa sitting at the little table with her playing tea party.  She just loves to play with him!

We had a delicious dinner as always.  Notice Blair is just barely peeking out! haha!

About to open a TON of gifts.  We did a homemade gift exchange this year (well the ladies at least, the boys did a Giants themed exchange) and everyone did such a wonderful job; I was so impressed with all the perfect gifts!  When we were passing out gifts and Blair was helping someone gave her one and said it was for baby sister.  She came up to me and lifted my shirt and tried to shove it under... it was SO cute!

 

Blair sort of enjoyed opening gifts but really didn't like the fact that she couldn't play with all of them right then.  She is a really good unwrapper though and gets every little piece of paper off.  Then it was immediately, "open" along with a fit if we said no.   We did open a few for her to play with, including this bowling set.

I made Graham a quiet book and this was one of the finger puppets.

and sometime that night... Probably when Blair was up from 1-4:30 keeping everyone including out houseguests awake from her excitement!  I thought we had a few more years before she was so excited she couldn't sleep.
