Going to the chapel...

and Blair is the flower girl!

We were honored to have Andy and Kimmy ask Blair to be their flower girl.  I was both excited and nervous for the day as you never know what can happen with an 18 month old flower girl. 

We started on Friday night for the rehearsal.  Luckily there was another flower girl too who was 7.  Sophia and her brother and ring bearer AJ took great care of Blair.  In fact, I think it was love at first sight for AJ!

She immediately started to boss them around to "SIT!" with her

She had to walk up this big Aisle uphill but she held Sophia's hand and did it no problem!

 She hung out with me while they did the rehearsal, eating some crackers.

and finally she got her "Ah-di" and she calls Andy.  She just absolutely loves Andy and screams for him as soon as she sees him.

The next day we headed up after nap for the big day!

She headed right to to visit and entertain the groomsmen of course!

Then she got to see Kimmy, the beautiful bride, and smell her flowers

everyone said, "ahhhhhh" as soon as they walked in!

 

She wasn't supposed to go up on the aisle so we were trying to get her to come over to me and she was just so concerned about the "trash!" in her hand (the rose petals).  It was pretty funny that she was so upset about it.

 She found a mirror and that kept her entertained for a long while!

 She had so much fun when Mimi went to play with the kids.  They jumped and ran all over the place.

Despite being told many times by many people, AJ always called Blair, "Claire."  At dinner he was sitting next to her (as he requested of course) and said, "Claire, will you dance with me later?" and she said, "Yes" because that is how she answers everything.  It was SO adorable and we all just about died!  It was really late at this point so this was the best he got and I guess he was really sad that she had to leave and he didn't get his proper dance.

She was non-cooperative with all pictures so this is literally the best picture we got with the most beautiful couple of the day!  It was truly a magnificent wedding, beautiful and so much fun!  We feel blessed we got to have such a wonderful family day and celebrate with our close friends.
